Lithium Cell Inspection Equipment

An inspection system for battery housings in the new-energy and automotive industries, covering surface defects, dimensions and the position of mounting holes relative to the part's machining datums. Because the part is large, full-field imaging cannot reach the required accuracy, so the system uses a small field of view and a product coordinate system to measure the position and size of every mounting hole. Image gray-level information is used to judge whether the housing surface has missed or excess welds.
