Laptop Appearance Inspection Device
Non-destructive surface-defect inspection software for laptop enclosure surfaces in the electronics industry, where inspection has been done manually. A fixture coarsely positions the enclosure; encoder feedback from the motor hard-triggers an 8K line-scan camera and a high-frequency light controller for time-division strobing. The full image is split into equal-sized tiles, each tile is sent to the algorithm server for inference, and a sample-level query returns the surface defect types.
