Information you send us through the contact form

The contact forms on this site (one on the home page, one on the About page) ask for:

• Your name
• Your work email address
• Your company (optional)
• Your message

When you submit a form, these details are sent to us as an email to hello@dinnar.us. We use them to reply to your inquiry. The website itself does not save form submissions in a database.

The email is delivered through Resend, an email delivery service, so the content of your submission passes through Resend's systems on its way to our inbox.

To limit abuse of the form, our server also notes the IP address a submission comes from and counts recent submissions from that address. This count is held in the server's memory only. It is not written to a database, and it is cleared when the server restarts.

Analytics

This site loads Google Analytics only when an analytics ID has been configured for it. When no ID is configured, no analytics script is loaded. When it is loaded, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects information about how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed. That information is processed by Google.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie of its own, named NEXT_LOCALE. It remembers whether you are using the English or the Chinese version, so the site opens in the same language next time. It holds only a language code (en or zh) and is a session cookie: it is deleted when you close your browser.

If Google Analytics is loaded, it sets its own cookies in addition, as described in the section above.

Sharing

We do not sell the information you send us. This website passes it only to the services named above: Resend, to deliver the email, and Google Analytics, when analytics is loaded.
